The Inter-Island Ferry Authority’s Stikine is a steel vehicle and passenger ferry currently on its primary service route between Coffman Cove, Wrangell, and Petersburg, Alaska.

The passenger deck includes a full service galley, restaurant, lounge, restrooms, forward observation lounge with reclining chairs, reading room, quiet room, children’s playroom and solarium.

The crew spaces include a day room, restroom and lockers for the 12 hour day shifts but there are no overnight accommodations. The Stikine operates with a 5-person crew.

 

The M/V Stikine is the second ferry built for the IFA by Dakota Creek. The Prince of Wales was delivered in late 2001. Each vessel is certified
for 160 passengers, with a vehicle capacity of 30 standard autos, or 15 autos and 10 – 28′ semi-trailers.
